Jesus promised to be with us until we get to that finish line: either He calls us home or it's the rapture! He did not promise an easy, prosperous life! Persecution is part of the package! We face hardships but they are to be distinguished with 'the tribulation' that comes after the rapture. So take heart, look up & pray for one another!
Matthew 10:16 ~ Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
Mark 10:29-30 ~ So Jesus answered and said, Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
Matthew 28:20 ~ teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.
