The Bema Seat or the Judgment Seat of Christ will separate the overcomers from those who were overcome in this life. From those who were faithful to their calling from those who were not. From those who ran the full race and won. All do not win. From those who obtained the salvation of their souls and the accompanying rights of primogeniture. From those who succeeded in taking up their instrument of death, the cross and allowed renewing of their minds with a view to the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ and remaining faithful. All with a view to joining Christ as an heir and sitting with Him on His Throne and ruling during the coming 7th day, The Day of The LORD. The Bema has nothing to do with eternal salvation. That was dealt with by a past completed work by Christ at Calvary. This soon coming Judgment has everything to do with man ruling over the earth rather then Angels. Hebrews explains it all. The common salvation by Grace through faith is eternal. Available to every man equally. It is free. A gift. No works allowed. The “so great salvation” of Hebrews on the other hand is entirely works based. And is very costly. One must have extra oil in his lamp to make that journey. One must die to the self to live to rule. That is a high price. Many either don’t know God has made the offer to sit with His Son on His throne as His bride or have refused the offer. Some even think the common salvation by grace is enough.
